Important: There may be two sets of 6-pin connectors.
Be sure to use the connectors coming directly from the
boom switches.
4. Plug the mating connectors from the Smartboom cable
(P/N 115-1001-062) to the corresponding connectors previously
disconnected.
3. Disconnect the 6-pin boom connections.
5. Route the harness into the cab and connect to the Smartboom
console.
6. Connect the power and ground wires from the Smartboom
harness to a good source of switched power.
7. Additional serial cable (115-0171-119) is provided if you wish to
connect the Raven console to the Smartboom console (See
Smartboom Controller Manual).
8. Connect the orange wire to the master switch (normally pin 2 on
master switch: gray wire with red stripe) using the supplied
parallel splice so that 12V is supplied to the orange wire when
the master switch is in the “ON” position or use the master
switch on the console.
9. Installation is now complete.
