• RATH® 2100 Series Analog Phone 

• Static IP address for IP Interface 

• IP address of SIP Server

 

Note: Address for IP Interface must be on the same network as SIP Server

• Name, authentication password, and authentication ID for SIP extension 

• PC with Network Interface Card attached to same network as SIP server 

• Battery backed up 120vac power source (RATH® RP7700100)

• Standard analog telephone

. Supply power to the IP Interface using battery backed up 120vac power source (RATH® RP7700100)

. Connect Ethernet port of IP Interface to network using supplied Ethernet cable

. Turn off wireless card on computer (if applicable)

. Log into IP Interface

 

a. Enter IP Interface IP address (192.168.1.160) into web browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox preferred)

 

b. Log into Interface  

              

  LOGIN:

 admin 

PASSWORD:

 admin

 Under 

QUICK SETUP

 Enter SIP Server information in IP Interface

 

a. Enter IP address of SIP server in PROXY box

 

b. Enter name as it will appear on phone in DISPLAY NAME

 

c. Enter Authentication ID in USER ID

 

d. Enter Authenitication Password in PASSWORD 

            e. Click 

SUBMIT

 at the bottom of the page (the unit will automatically reboot)

. Log back into unit and Change IP address settings of IP Interface

 

a. Click 

NETWORK SETUP

 under the menu options on the top of the screen

 

b. Enter desired IP address, subnet mask, and default router for IP Interface

            c. Click 

SUBMIT

 at the bottom of the page (the unit will automatically reboot)

Testing the IP Interface

1. 

After configuration, place a test call from analog phone connected to phone port

2.

 If test call is successful, IP Interface is ready for operation 

3.

 A RATH® 2100 Series analog Phone can be plugged in at this time
