3. Put the inner pot inside the main body.
(1) Before putting the inner pot inside the main body, make sure the outer and bottom
surface of the inner pot is wiped dry and clean. If foreign substance is attached on
the heating plate, please remove it immediately. Otherwise it will cause noise while
cooking and possibly a malfunction.
(2) Put the inner pot into the main body and ensure it is directly in contact with the
heating plate.
4. Close the lid until a “click” sound is heard.
5. Connect the power, the “COOK” indicator will be on. The “On/Off” switch must be pressed
down to start cooking. Otherwise, the “WARM” indicator will light up automatically
after a few minutes, which means the appliance is in the keep-warm status.

It is recommended to soak the rice for 30 minutes before cooking, the cooked rice
will become more delicate and tasty.
6. After cook, the “On/Off” will pop up and a “click” sound will be heard. The “COOK”
indicator will be off and the “WARM” light will be on. This indicates the rice cooker is in
keep-warm status.

When the temperature inside rice cooker drops below the keep-warm temperature,
the rice cooker will reheat the rice automatically. The “WARM” light will be off and
the “COOK” indicator will be on, it indicates the rice cooker turns from keep-warm
to cooking status. When the rice cooker reaches the keep-warm temperature, it will
return the keep-warm status.

After changing to keep-warm status, keep the rice inside the rice cooker for 10-15
minutes, the rice would become soft and taste better.
7. When the rice cooker is not in use, please unplug from the power socket.
6. Rice Cooking Precautions
1. Please rinse and clean the rice thoroughly, otherwise rice crust and smell from rice bran
may occur.
2. The actual cooking time is varied with different rice amount, rice quality, water volume,
voltage, room and water temperature.
3. The cooked rice texture is varied with difference rice amount, water volume and rice
quality, sometimes it is possible to form rice crust.
4. To avoid rice crust, the minimum rice quantity to be cooked is 1 cup for RRC-HMT10 and
2 cups for RRC-HMT18.
7. Keep Warm Precautions
1. To avoid the rice becoming dry and clump, please stir the rice and keep the lid closed
tightly during keep-warm.
2. Do not keep warm over 5 hours, otherwise the rice may change color, generate odour
or form rice crust.
3. Do not use keep-warm function to reheat the leftover cold rice.
4. If the rice amount to be warmed is too less or keep warm time is too long, the rice will
become dry and lose the original flavor.
5. During keep-warm, water drops may appear on the edge of inner pot, this is normal.
6. The keep-warm function will keep operating until the plug is removed.
