Load Shedding Configuration Commands
This section applies to outlet-switching capable models only.
A load shedding configuration command begins with
loadshedding
.
Unlike other CLI configuration commands, the load shedding
configuration command is performed in the
administrator mode
rather
than the configuration mode. See
Different CLI Modes and Prompts
(on page 339).
Enabling or Disabling Load Shedding
This section applies to outlet-switching capable models only.
This command determines whether to enter or exit from the load
shedding mode.

loadshedding <option>
After performing the above command, PX prompts you to confirm the
operation. Press
y
to confirm or
n
to abort the operation.
To skip the confirmation step, you can add the "/y" parameter to the end
of the command so that the operation is executed immediately.
#
loadshedding <option> /y
Variables:
<option> is one of the options:
enable
or
disable
.
Option
Description
start
Enter the load shedding mode.
stop
Quit the load shedding mode.
