Diamond Configuration

Figure 36 A Simple Diamond PCCI Configuration

Similar to a multi-base tier, a diamond configuration contains multiple paths from second-tier
Paragon switches to a single third-tier Paragon switch. A diamond configuration however starts
with a single base-tier Paragon switch, and thus eight such diamonds can be managed by a single
P2-SC device on a given subnet.
