Set
ON/OFF
to
OFF
and install the battery in the Body Scanner.
2.
Insert the AC adapter's plug into the Body Scanner's
recharger/earphone jack, on the side of the wand.
3.
Plug the AC adapter's other end
into a standard AC outlet.
4.
Charge the battery for 14 to 16 hours.
5.
Unplug the AC adapter from the AC outlet first.
Then unplug it from the charging jack.
Note:
Let the nickel-cadmium battery fully discharge once in a while before
you recharge it.
Important:
Your Body Scanner is capable of using a
rechargeable nickel-
cadmium battery. At the end of the battery's useful life, it must be recycled
or disposed of properly. Contact your local, county or state hazardous waste
management authorities for information on recycling or disposal programs
in your area. Some options that might be available are municipal curbside
collection, drop-off boxes at retailers, recycling collection centers, and mail-
back programs.
