In professional audio applications, all signal lines are generally balanced in order to
avoid interference coupling. For this reason, the internal signal lines of Audio Switchers
R&S UPZ are balanced and equipped with the XLR connectors commonly used in
studio engineering. The pin assignment is defined and shown in
on page 15.
