The instrument is connected to the AC supply by means of the connecting line
supplied. The ON LED lights up as soon as the connection is established and the
instrument is switched on.
Note:
The instrument is in compliance with safety class EN61010-1.
Connect the
instrument only to a socket with earthing contact.

1.3.5 Power Fuses
The R&S UPZ has an all-pole protection comprising two fuses of the type IEC127-
T125H/250V (for 230 V) or IEC127T250H/250V (for 115 V). They are accommodated
in the removable fuse holder next to the power switch on the rear panel. For replacing
the fuses, first remove the power cable from the R&S UPZ. The fuse holder can then
be opened using a screwdriver and pulled out. Use only fuses of the specified type as
a replacement.
