5.7.3 Output of the Baseband Signal - I/Q Out
The R&S
SMJ provides various outputs of the baseband signal.
The digitally modulated signal can either be output directly or converted to an analog
I/Q baseband output signal. The
analog baseband signal
can be output single-ended
or differential (non-inverted).
The single ended or differential output requires option R&S
SMJ-B16, Differential Out-
put.
The analog signal is output at the I/Q output connectors I OUT/I OUT BAR and Q OUT/
Q OUT BAR on the rear panel of the instrument.
The output of the
digital baseband signal
requires the option R&S
SMJ-B18, Digital
I/Q Out. The signal is output at the standardized (LVDS) digital I/Q interface on the rear
panel.
5.7.3.1
