AUTO
If operates in auto mode, the R&S
NGU goes into sink or source
mode depending on the voltage across the output terminal. If
voltage across the output terminal exceeds the set voltage, cur-
rent flows into the instrument, e.g. the instrument is now operat-
ing in sink mode; vv if voltage across output terminal is below
set voltage, instrument operates as a source mode.
SINK
If operates in sink mode, current flows into the instrument. On
display, current is shown as negative current.
SOURce
If operates in source mode, current flows out from the instru-
ment.
Parameters for setting and query:

Example:
OUTPut:MOD? (@1)
Queries output mode at channel 1.
Example:
OUTPut:MOD AUTO, (@1)
Set output mode to "AUTO" at channel 1.
OUTPut:MODE:CAPacitance

Sets or queries the output capacitance mode.
Parameters:

OFF | LOW | HIGH | <list>
OFF
Disable output capacitance mode.
LOW
Set low capacitance mode for capacitance load of up to 47

HIGH
Set high capacitance mode for capacitance load of > to 47
µ
F.

Example:
OUTP:MODE:CAP LOW
OUTP:MODE:CAP?
-> LOW
Returns the capacitance mode as LOW.
OUTPut:SELect
