Connecting to power
The device is not equipped with an ON/OFF switch. An interrupting device that the
user can easily reach must be provided at the AC supply end to prevent the user from
working with AC supply voltage. See also
Suitable MC cable sockets for connecting cables are included in the equipment sup-
plied.
1. Make sure that the connected mains supply is sufficiently fused for the maximum
permissible continuous current voltage of the R&S
ENV4200 as listed in the data
sheet.
2.
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock. Make sure that the R&S
ENV4200 is connected
to the protective ground terminal before you connect the R&S
ENV4200 to the
power source. The protective ground connection must remain until you have dis-
connected the R&S
ENV4200 from the power supply.

3. Connect the blue MC cable socket of the supply voltage with the label "N" (neutral
conductor) to the MC high current connection with the "N" identifier on the rear
panel of the R&S
ENV4200.
