PN Offset
Sets the offset index of the PN sequence (PILOT_PN) in units of 64 chips. Changing
the PN offset changes the timing of the pilot channel, the timing and contents of the
sync channel message, and the long code mask of the paging channel.
Remote command:
Call Loss Detect Time
Sets the value of the fade timer to detect when a call is lost or dropped.
Remote command:
Page Response Timeout
Sets the timeout value of the page timer (in increments of 1 seconds) to define the
maximum time the R&S
CMW will attempt to page the MS. Setting this timeout to small
values may save time in production tests.
Remote command:
Local Time Offset
Specifies the local time offset from CDMA system time as a constant value for the
descriptor tag as specified in standard EN 300 468. It ranges from 0 to 63, which repre-
sents the range –16:00 ... +15:30 hours in 30 minute increments. It is used by the
CDMA local time calculation, which is primarily used to verify the correctness of the
time displayed on the MS.
The parameter is implemented as a two's complement on a 6-bit basis, which results in
a signed integer that is multiplied by 0.5 hours to set the desired time offset, as shown
below:
