Selection of Trace Function
The trace functions are subdivided as follows:
• Display mode of trace (CLEAR/WRITE, VIEW and BLANK)
• Evaluation of the trace as a whole (AVERAGE, MAX HOLD and MIN HOLD)
• Evaluation of individual pixels of a trace (MAX PEAK, MIN PEAK, QUASIPEAK,
AVERAGE and RMS).
TRACE
The
TRACE
key opens a menu offering the setting options for the selected trace.
In this menu, the mode of representing the measured data in the frequency or time
domain in the 625 pixels of the display is determined. Upon start of the measure-
ment, each trace can be displayed either completely new or based on the previous
results.
Traces can be displayed, blanked and copied.
