16. Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the
appliance.
17. Never touch the hot parts of the appliance (be careful, also the warming
plate is a hot part !), only touch the plastic parts and the jug by the handle.
18. Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee
filter.
19. The glass carafe is designed for use with this appliance it must never be
used on a range top.
20. Do not set a hot container on a set or cold surface.
21. Do not use a cracked carafe or a carafe having a loose or weakened
handle. Handle with care as the glass is very fragile.
22. Do not clean carafe with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive
material.
23. Never use your coffee maker without water in it.
24. Never place the empty (or almost empty) coffeepot on the hotplate when
the coffee machine is operating, or on any other hot surfaces.
25. Do not forget that the temperature of the coffee prepared is high. Handle
with care your coffeepot to avoid any risk of splashes.
26. Save this instruction for future use.
