Example :
A Bayer DT150 250 ohms headphone gives these
measurements.
The dBU level is measured feeding the headphone
with a 1000Hz sine, just before saturation.
Using a B&K sonometer the SPL level in dB is
measured in Laeq mode and pink noise just before
saturation. The sensor is 2cm from the headphone
transducer in open air.
To use other headphones, follow the same process
and adjust switches to get the required level.
PCS300 factory setting, limitation is disabled (all
switches ON).
