3.1.4 Alarm output interface
The alarm output interface is embedded with an electromagnetic relay. When the Gazelle
S1512i-PWR is in abnormal status, it can output alarms by controlling the connection status
of PINs, notify on-site maintenance personnel, and send alarms to the NMS.
The alarm output interface and power interface of the DC power model is co-located on an 8-
pin Phoenix connector with spaces of 5.08 mm, of which the alarm output interface takes up 3
PINs, as shown in Figure 3-1.
When an alarm is generated, PIN 1 and PIN 2 are connected, and thus the ALM LED is
on.
When no alarm is generated, PIN 2 and PIN 3 are connected, and thus the ALM LED is
off.
