It is recommended that the loudspeaker wire insulation be stripped back approximately 10 mm ( 3/8”),
allowing the wire conductor to make a proper connection. The silver terminals have red (positive) and
black (negative) polarity indicators. Loosen the silver terminals by turning counter-clockwise. Insert the
wire end and re-tighten.
Banana style connectors may also be used. The connection is made by
connecting the loudspeaker wire to the banana plugs and then inserting the
banana plug into the top portion of the binding posts.
Note: Do not allow the positive and negative loudspeaker wire from the receiver
to make contact at any time, as this will cause a short.
Maintenance
The loudspeakers should be cleaned at regular intervals as the outside conditions rapidly cause soiling
and a deterioration of the material. Use a soft, moist cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any solvents or
organic detergents.
Warranty
The manufacturer undertakes for all products a warranty for the perfect function of all parts. The
warranty begins with the acquisition of the product by the authorized dealer, is entitled only to the direct
first buyer, and is non-transferable.
The warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects, however it excludes mechanical defects,
defects caused by electrical overloading and foreign interference by unauthorized persons.
Mechanical Defects
Defects resulting from damage to the loudspeakers during installation and inappropriate installation for
use not corresponding to the intended range of application.
Electrical Defects
Damage resulting from electrical and thermal overloading and/or inadmissibly high power supply, and
clipped amplifiers.
Electromechanical Defects
Damage occurring from operation of the loudspeakers with too high volumes and the corresponding
damages caused such as burned voice coils and broken lead wires, and accidents, including acts of
God, or others for which AIV cannot be held accountable. In particular, water and fire are not subject to
warranty. Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.
