The infra red cord is removable. If you do not need it, remove it and replace it by the provided plug 

by following the steps below:

Unscrew the field transmitter back plane.

Unscrew the infra red cord security.

Place the provided plug in the free space  

to insure sealing of the field transmitter.

Scew again the security device before 

closing the field transmitter.

Pull up the cord…

… and unplug it.
