Initial Lubrication
Although the engine was lubricated at the factory, it is important that you
lubricate the chassis before operation. Lightly grease the outside idler and
drive gears (marked “G” in Fig. 4 on page 9) to prevent them from squeaking.
Use light household oil and follow the lubrication points marked “L” in Fig. 3
on page 8. Do not over-oil. Use only a drop or two on each pivot point.
Connection Instructions
1. Place the engine and cars on straight, level track.
2. Connect the cable between the engine and first car.
3. Press down on the round vestibule over the truck .
4. Slide the tongue on the first car between the depressed vestibule and the
truck.
5. Release the vestibule and listen for the tongue to lock into place.
6. Repeat to connect the second car
In order to disconnect the cars, Simply depress the vestibule and pull the cars
apart. Don’t forget to unplug the cable.
At this point, you are ready to put your engine on the track and begin running
it.
