16 Bogie Handling
Never lift the entire machine with a crane.
The machine must be parked on a level surface.
The machine must be secured to prevent rolling while the bogie is being demounted.
If the bogie being lifted, be sure the crane vehicle capacity, and lifting chains or straps are
sufficient to withstand the bogie weight. See the serial plate on the bogie for the bogie weight.
Do not demount removable bogie when on a slope.
The bogie must be in contact with the ground first.
Never demount the bogie with the blade out of the stowed positions.
Always fully stow the blade before disengaging the bogie locks.
Always refasten secondary locking pins each and every time they are removed.
Always latch and padlock the bogie locks.
