4. Hardware Installation
Please follow the instructions below to complete the hardware installation.
1. Place the system on a stable surface. Ensure that it is well ventilated without blockage to the vent
and kept away from areas near water and damage prone areas.
4. When the HDD installation has been completed, insert the tray into the system horizontally and
secure the latch into place.
5. Use the RAID switch on the back of GR3660 to set the RAID mode to be used.
6. Depending on the type of computer USB port, select the corresponding USB cable in the
accessory to connect the computer to the USB port on the GR3660.
7. Connect the power cord to the power adapter, connect the connectors at both ends to the
GR3660 and the power socket, and then start the GR3660.
8. After the computer is turned on, the storage capacity will be automatically recognized by the
operating system. After the storage capacity is recognized successfully, please format the system
according to your desired storage format and follow the instructions of the operating system. After
the hard disk is formatted, the GR3660 can be used directly.

2. Use the key included in the accessory kit to
unlock the HDD tray key lock, and then press the
HDD tray key lock. The removable drive tray will
pop open and extract the removable drive tray.
3. For 3.5" HDD/SSD, please secure it by use six the larger screws included in the accessory kit.
For 2.5" HDD/SSD, please secure it by use four the smaller screws included in the accessory kit.
11. Once the computer turn to “Standby” or “Sleep” mode, GR3660 will still complete the rebuilding
function. However, it will not change to “Standby” mode after rebuilding. You need to shut down
the GR3660 manually or wake up the computer to synchronize “Standby ” or “Sleep” mode
together.
12. GR3660 uses a 12V/5V AC/DC Adapter. Please do not use other non-certified Power Adapter to
avoid damaging to your GR3660 unit.
13. We strongly recommend backing up important data stored on the GR3660 to another storage
device or a remote site. RAIDON will not be held liable for the damage or loss of data you stored
on the GR3660.

If you are using a USB 3.2 C to A cable, the Type-A on the host side needs to be USB 3.2 Gen2
for best access performance.
