Sleep Function
This function allows you to programme the unit to switch off by itself after a set sleep time.
Make sure the radio is switched on before setting the sleep time.
1. While in ON mode, press MENU to display the menu.
2. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select <Sleep>, then press SCROLL &
SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm.
3. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select the desired sleep time.

4. Press SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm. “ ” will show on the display.
5. When the sleep timer reaches zero, the radio will turn off. To turn the sleep function off
while the sleep timer is still counting down, repeat steps 1-3 to select “Sleep off”. “ ”
will disappear from the display.
Displaying Backlight
1. While in ON mode, press MENU to display the menu.
2. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select <Backlight>, then press SCROLL &
SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm.
3. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select <Power on> or <Standby> mode,
then press SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm.
4. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select backlight level, then press SCROLL
& SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm.

5. Press MENU to exit.
During standby mode, press any button to switch on the backlight for 10 seconds.
Language
1. While in ON mode, press MENU to display the menu.
2. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select <Language>, then press SCROLL &
SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm.
3. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE dial to select your desired language, then press
SCROLL & SELECT/SNOOZE to confirm.
4. Press MENU to exit.
