2. Once the scan has finished, the unit will display a list of the found stations. Explore the
found stations by turning SCROLL & SELECT dial on the unit or press
on the remote
control. And then press SCROLL & SELECT on the unit or OK on the remote control to
confirm selected station. All stations that have been found will be automatically stored.
In DAB mode, press MENU on the unit or the remote control to display the DAB menu. Turn
SCROLL & SELECT dial on the unit or press
on the remote control to scroll through the
options then press SCROLL & SELECT on the unit or press OK on the remote control to
confirm.
Station list
Select from a list of DAB stations.
Full scan
Perform auto scan.
Manual tune
This can help you when aligning your aerial or when adding
stations that were missed while auto tuning.
DRC (Dynamic
Range
Compression)
If you are listening to music with high dynamic range in a noisy
environment, you may wish to compress the audio dynamic
range.
Select DRC high, low or off.
Prune
Select YES or NO to remove all invalid stations.
Secondary Services
You may see a “ ” symbol after the name of the station, this indicates that there are
secondary services available to that station. These secondary services contain extra
services that are related to the primary station. e.g. a sports station may want to add extra
commentaries. The secondary services are inserted directly after the primary station in the
station list.
To select the secondary station, turn SCROLL & SELECT dial on the unit or press
on
the remote control until you find the secondary service you want, then press SCROLL &
SELECT on the unit or press OK on the remote control to select it.
When the secondary service ends, the unit will automatically switch back to the primary
station.
DAB Operation
1. Press MODE on the unit or on the remote control repeatedly to select DAB radio.
The unit will automatically perform auto scan function while the unit is connected to the
mains power and switched on from standby for the first time. If it’s not function, press SCROLL
& SELECT on the unit or
on the remote control to start auto scan in Station list or Full
scan menu. Please refer the section “Turning the Radio On for the First Time” for details.
