DAB Operation
If the unit is connected to the mains power and switched
on for the first time, the unit will automatically enter into
DAB mode and perform the auto scan function. During the
scan the display will show “Scanning …” together with a
slide bar that indicates the progress of the scan and the
amount of stations that have been found so far.
Once the scan has finished, the unit will broadcast the
first alphanumerically found station. To explore the found
stations, turn the SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE dial. When
you find a station that you would like to listen to, press
SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE.
DAB Auto Scan
The auto scan will search for the entire DAB Band channels. After the scan has finished, the
first alphanumerically found station will be automatically broadcast.
1. To activate auto scan, press and hold MENU to display
the menu. Turn the SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE dial
to select <Full scan>, then press SCROLL/SELECT &
SNOOZE to confirm.
2. The display will show “Scanning …” and a slide bar
that indicates the progress of the scan.
3. All the stations that have been found will be stored
automatically. To explore the found stations, turn
the SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE dial. Press SCROLL/
SELECT & SNOOZE to confirm.
Full auto scan will not replace the DAB stations in the memory. If you want to remove all the
previously scanned stations, you will need to reset the system.
Manual Tune
This function is for advanced users only. Stations are selected from the station list.
Manual scan enables you to tune to each multiplex channel, check if a multiplex is present
and measure the signal strength.
1. Press MENU button, and then turn the SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE dial to select
<Manual tune>, then press SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE button to confirm. The
display will switch to read multiplex channel number and frequency.
2. Turn the SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE dial to select through the channel numbers,
and then press SCROLL/SELECT & SNOOZE button to tune to the displayed channel
number. If there is a multiplex on this channel, the multiplex name will be shown. A
signal strength bar will be displayed.
3. To playing the station, first press MENU button to exit manual tune.
