functionality within the CPS.

Safe factory settings to a file
Before you start making your first changes, transfer the data from your radio to
your PC and safe them
as ‘factory settings’ for later use. It is always advisable to
have the original factory settings at hand.
Connect to the radio
Make sure, that your radio is connected with the supplied programming cable to
your Windows machine. Start by clicking
on ‘Comm’ within the toolbar.
You will then be presented a list of COM-ports identified on your Windows
machine.
This is required before any ‘Read’ - or ‘Write’ -Operation from/to the radio.
