Cautions:
• 9-volt batteries and standard ca-
pacity AA and AAA batteries fully
charge in less than 8 hours. Refer
to “Recommended Charging
Times” for the recommended
charging time for all sizes and
types of standard capacity batter-
ies.
• The charger does not automatically
turn off when charging a 9-volt bat-
tery. However, the low charge rate
for a 9-volt battery prevents dam-
age if one is left in the charger too
long.
6. After each charge, unplug the charger
from the outlet and remove the batter-
ies.

To enjoy your RadioShack 5-Hour AA &
AAA Ni-Cd/Ni-MH Battery Charger for a
long time:
• Keep the charger dry. If it gets wet,
wipe it dry immediately.
• Use and store the charger only in nor-
mal temperature environments.
• Handle the charger gently and care-
fully. Don’t drop it.
• Keep the charger away from dust and
dirt.
• Wipe the charger with a damp cloth
occasionally to keep it looking new.
Modifying or tampering with the charger’s
internal components can cause a malfunc-
tion and invalidate its warranty. If your
charger is not performing as it should, take
it to your local RadioShack store for assis-
tance.
