The second handset supplied with 43-3598 is
already registered at the factory so you do not need
to register it. Other handset(s) must be registered
before use. To register, simply place the handset on
the base until you hear the confirmation tone. If you
do not hear the confirmation tone, register the
handset again.
You can use the optional handsets in the same way
as the base handset with a few exceptions. The
"
CAUTION
"
You must use a Class 2
power source that supplies
9V DC and delivers at least
210 mA. Its center tip must
be set to positive and its plug
must fit the charger DC IN
9V jack. The supplied
adapter meets these
specifications. Using an
adapter that does not meet
these specifications could
damage the handset or the
adapter.
Always connect the AC
adapter to the charger before
you connect it to AC power.
When you finish, disconnect
the adapter from AC power
before you disconnect it from
the charger.
