Use an Adapter (Optional)
You can listen to the radio and charge the radio’s battery
pack at the same time. Connect a DC adapter (not
supplied) to the
DC IN
jack. Battery pack charging time is
about 12 hours to fully charge.

Note:
You must use a Class 2 power source that
supplies 6V DC and delivers at least 300mA. Its center tip
must be set to positive and its plug must fit your radio’s
6V jack. Using an adapter that does not meet these
specifications could damage your radio or adapter.
Use the Radio
Listen to Your Radio

Extend the antenna (for FM and weather (WX) radio).
2.
Turn
VOL/POWER
to turn on the radio and adjust
the volume.
3.
Press
BAND
to select a radio band.
4.
Rotate
TUNE +/-
to tune to a station.
5.
Press
AM
-
FM SCAN
to automatically tune to a
station.

Note:
• For best FM/WX reception, fully extend the
telescopic antenna.
• The radio has a built-in AM antenna. Rotate your radio
to improve reception.
• To avoid radio interference, do not use the
USB
OUTPUT
function while listening to the radio.
