ANSWERING A CALL
When the phone receives an incoming call, it rings and

flashes on the display. To answer the call, press

Notes:
• Your phone can receive calls even if the antenna is not
extended. For optimum performance or if the signal
strength becomes weak, however, extend the antenna.
• If you subscribe to calling line ID service through your
cellular carrier, you can view the calling party’s phone
number on the phone’s display. See “Viewing/Recalling
Messages” on Page 41.
• If your phone receives a call but the signal strength is too
weak to support it,
CALL
appears and the phone sounds
a series of beeps. The caller hears the standard “cus-
tomer not available” message. If this happens, press
to clear
CALL
from the display.
Missed Call Message
If your phone is on and receives a call, but you do not answer
it,
CALL
appears on the display for about 15 seconds after
the calling party hangs up. The next time you press any key
(except
,
, or
),
CALL
reappears for about 15 sec-
onds to notify you that you missed a call.
