8.3.  Reaction arm foot

Ensure the foot of the reaction arm aligns with the length of the nut as seen in Figure 8.3A. The length of the foot 

cannot be shorter or longer than the nut as seen in Figure 8.3B and Figure 8.3C.

NOTE: 

Improper reaction will void warranty and can cause premature tool failure.

WARNING: 

Always keep your hand and body parts clear of the reaction arm and barrel when the tool 

is in operation, see Figure 8.4C.

8.4.  Reaction point

Ensure the reaction arm reacts off  the middle of the foot as seen in Figure 8.4A. Do not react off  the heel of the 

reaction foot as seen in Figure 8.4B.

9. Parts and maintenance

Tool service is recommended every year or 250.000 cycles, whichever comes fi rst. Tool repair and 

maintenance should only be carried out by authorized, trained personnel. When service or repair is 

required, contact Radial Torque Tools B.V..

Have your power tool serviced by qualifi ed repair person using only identical replacement 

parts. 

This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

•  When servicing a tool, use only genuine Ingersoll Rand replacement parts and follow all 

maintenance instructions. 

Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance Instructions 

may create a risk of electric shock or injury.

• 

Do not dispose of batteries in fi re, incinerate or heat above 100° C (212° F). 

Batteries present a 

risk of fi re or chemical burn if mistreated.

•  Responsibly recycle or dispose of batteries in accordance with all applicable standards and 

regulations (local, state, country, federal, etc.). 

Improper disposal may endanger the environment.
