System requirements for the router

The router must have a DHCP server.

The DHCP server of the router must be activated.
8.1 Connecting the router
Assigning IP addresses on the router
All the network devices (e.g. Bridge) connected to the router
in a network are assigned an IP address by the DHCP server of
the router. A specific IP address range is reserved for this on the
DHCP server.
If you want to assign a fixed address for the Bridge,
you must change the configuration of the DHCP
server on the router accordingly. Please read
the information provided in the instruction manual
for your router.
