
This is typical of most cabling systems. This
network consists of 288 workstations. This is not
a well planned design. With this design there is
but one option. Because of the workstation port
arrangements, culling out the stations to be used
with the appropriate switch is much more
complicated than it should be, requiring longer
than necessary patch cords where the slack is
stored in the vertical manager with every other
layer. This leaves patch cables very difficult to
trace and troubleshoot. What a mess!
