WP4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

RAB fixtures must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and all applicable local codes. Proper 

grounding is required for safety. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE 

INSTALLATION CODE BY A PERSON FAMILIAR WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT 

AND THE HAZARDS INVOLVED. Observe all caution and warning labels.

LOCATION

1.  Secure the Wallpack to a solid surface. Do not recess 

any part of this fixture. 

2.  Mount over a junction box or feed with conduit on 

each side, top or bottom.  Using lag bolts to secure 

fixture to the mounting surface is recommended. 

3.  To ensure weatherproof seal, use the supplied 

mounting gasket and seal all mounting plugs, conduit 

entrances and along all sides of the fixture with 

weatherproof silicone sealant.

Backbox

WIRING

All QT units are factory wired for 277V except those 

factory ordered with a 120V Photocell (/PC). If other 

voltages are required, remove reflector and rewire for the 

appropriate voltage.

1.  Open door and remove the reflector by loosening the  

(4) Reflector Screws.

 

2.  Connect the desired tap from the ballast to the (+) 

LINE supply lead. 

3.  Connect the white fixture lead to the (-) COMMON 

supply lead. 

4.  Connect the bare copper Ground wire from fixture to 

supply ground. 

5.  Replace the reflector. Tighten screws.  Install the 

lamp and close the door.
