7.12 *STB?
The
*STB?
(STatus Byte) query returns bit 0 to 5 and bit 7 of the QM1004A-2-18 Combined RF Upcon-
verter/Downconverter status byte and returns the Master Summary Status (MSS) as bit 6. The MSS is
inclusive OR of the bitwise combination (excluding bit 6) of the Status Byte and the Service Request En-
able registers. The format of the return is an integer between 0 and 255. Table 4.14 shows the contents
of this register.
