3.2 POWEr:CH1:ATTENuation <numeric value>
This command allows the user to set the RF attenuation level of the QM1003-2-18 downconverter to a
specified numeric value. The range of acceptable attenuation values is 0 - 31 dB in 1 dB steps.

This command sets the upconverter attenuation to 31 dB
Default Condition
On power up, or when a
*RST
command is issued, the QM1003-2-18 upconverter attenuation level returns
to the boot state’s setting. The RF Downconverter default setting is 0.
Query
:POWE:CH1:ATTEN?
This query returns the current upconverter attenuation level
.
Error Message
If the parameter is not in the recognized format, error
-102, "Syntax error"
occurs.
If the parameter is less than 0 or greater than 31.5, error
-222, "Data out of range"
occurs.
