Hold RediLead by the handle. DO NOT grasp the cord or tape with your hands or fingers. DO NOT allow the cord or tape
to wrap around your fingers, hands, arms, legs or any other part of you, your pet, or any person or pet standing near you.
If the cord or tape of your RediLead becomes entangled around you, your pet, or any person or object, then immediately
EITHER let go of the device or grab your pet and bring your pet back under control; and then disentangle RediLead.
CAUTION: Use RediLead only with pets that respond to voice and sight commands.
DO NOT hold RediLead near your head or face. Hold RediLead with your arm aimed toward the ground and extended away
from your body. If the cord or tape retracts suddenly, RediLead has the potential to cause serious bodily injury to you or
your pet.
Carefully watch your pet’s behavior and demeanor when using RediLead. To prevent damage to the cord or tape, DO NOT
allow the cord or tape to rub or brush against any rough, ragged, or sharp surface. DO NOT allow your pet to chew on the
cord, tape or handle.
To reduce the risk of injury, always maintain your footing when utilizing RediLead. If your pet begins to lunge, to run, to
pull strongly, then immediately EITHER let go of the device or grab your pet and bring your pet back under control.
DO NOT use RediLead to attempt to restrain or control your pet. If RediLead suddenly separates from your pet’s collar or
harness during use, immediately turn your face away, and either let go of the device or grab your pet and bring your pet
back under control.
RediLead can cause serious facial and head injuries to you or your pet. The RediLead cord or tape can cause serious cuts,
breaks, abrasions, burns and amputations to anyone, including infants, children, and pets, who contact the RediLead cord or tape.
DO NOT use RediLead if you are on medication that makes you sleepy or groggy. DO NOT use RediLead while under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
DO NOT use RediLead with choke type collars.
Attach RediLead only to a pet collar or harness to which RediLead properly clips and connects. DO NOT connect or attach RediLead to
a leash or a rope. DO NOT use RediLead in combination with any other pet device, other than an appropriately equipped collar or pet
harness. DO NOT attempt to attach RediLead to a collar or harness D ring.
DO NOT wrap RediLead around the neck, a paw, a limb or body of your pet.
DO NOT attempt to open the RediLead’s housing. DO NOT modify RediLead in any way. If you have problems with your RediLead, do
not attempt to repair. Please contact us at www.redilead.com. The mechanisms, the cord or tape, and the handle of RediLead will wear
out after usage and over time. Therefore, DO NOT use this product more than one (1) year after the date of purchase.
REDILEAD INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
WARNING: to avoid injury, read instructions carefully before using the RediLead and use only as instructed.
Check the condition of the RediLead and collar or harness of your pet before each use. Please DO NOT open the housing – there is the
risk of injury. Examine your RediLead before each use. Even high quality materials are subject to wear and tear. RediLead should not
be used in excess of the stated lifecycle.
DEVICE IS NOT RESTRAINT: RediLead is NOT a restraining device. DO NOT use RediLead to restrain or control your pet.
(A) Handle; (B) Cord or Tape; (C) Handle Recess; (D) Key; (E) and (F) Swivel Base Slots.
Attach/Detach: To attach or detach RediLead, make sure the cord or tape (B) is fully
retracted and the handle (A) is nested in the handle recess (C) on the top of the housing.
To engage key (D), run key through swivel base slots (E) and (F) until key snaps in place,
checking that collar or harness webbing is trapped between swivel base slots (E) and
(F). Check that key is fully inserted and snapped in place before use.
