Tuning Transmitter to Receiver
NOTE
The working range of RFR Reel radio transmitters are affected by
the many factors that typically affect all 915MHz radio transmissions.
These include operating in the vicinity of high tension power lines,
buildings and other obstructions, other radio transmitters, and under
certain atmospheric conditions. Under ideal conditions, using a long
range antenna, up to 500 metres (or more) may be achieved.

To tune your transmitter to the receiver,
you will need to remove the covers
off both the 915MHz transmitter and
receiver to expose the dip-switch boards
(Diagram 1).
Inside you will see a set of dip-switch
codes in each (blue boards).
These codes can be moved into the up
or down position.
Ensure that both the radio receiver dip-
switch and radio transmitter dip-switch
code match to each other (Diagram 2).
This will enable the remote control to
operate correctly.
Your reel is delivered pre-tuned from the factory. If at some point you need a new
radio transmitter or receiver board, you will need to re-tune your system.
