1 Overview
There are three methods for updating firmware on a Quasonix 3
rd
Generation Rack-Mount RDMS
TM
Telemetry
Receiver: SD Card Update, Network Update, and Local Update.
1.1 RDMS SD Card Update
Be sure the RDMS is turned off.

When the unit has completely powered down, remove the cover from the front panel to access the
USB/Micro SD ports, as shown in Figure 1.

Insert the programming card, supplied by Quasonix, into the Micro SD slot with the contacts facing up.

Be sure the card is inserted completely in the Micro SD slot until it locks in, as shown in Figure 3.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE CARD IS IN THE SLOT AND DOES NOT FALL INTO THE EMPTY
SPACE!
