Additional In-use Adjustments
CLP
–
Constant Low Pressure is used for patients who are unable to tolerate alternating pressure. This setting is
most often selected for clients when patient comfort is the primary objective. CLP will not provide alternating
pressure therapy.
Auto Detection
–
Press both
Soft
and
Firm
at the same time to engage Auto Detection. When engaged, this setting
will permit the controller to automatically determine optimal inflation for a patient. When engaged, a flashing green
light will appear next to
Auto Detection
.
Low Pressure
- Possible air leaks or loose tubing connection result in low pressure light illuminating. Low pressure
may also illuminate during initial inflation.
Battery Status
–
LED light will illuminate
Lb
if low battery. This may occur if the mattress has been in storage for
some time, allowing the internal battery to become low. To correct, leave the pump plugged in and turned on for
several hours and the
Lb
code will disappear once the battery has recharged.
Alarm -
Power failure produces an audio alarm for added safety. The alarm can be disabled by pushing the ALARM
RESET Button.
Lock
–
The control panel lock automatically engages when the controller is operating for several minutes. Press and
hold the Lock button for 3 seconds to deactivate lock function. Once deactivated, you will be able to adjust settings.
AIR FILTER must be cleaned monthly and replaced as needed.
