Press the
MAX
button to activate quick inflation; allow 1 minute for full inflation. After fully inflated press
MAX
again to end the fast inflation mode.
Chose the appropriate therapy mode;
ALTERNATE
- Select cycle time 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes.
PULSATE
– Pressure in all cells will increase and decrease together in 1 minute intervals.
STATIC
- The mattress will provide ONLY true low air loss therapy.

Adjust the system’s pressure setting. The control panel shows patient weights from 80lbs – 1000lbs. Pressure
Settings are not intended to match patient weight exactly. Settings provide a reference point to determine
optimal pressure. Optimizing pressure for individual clients should be done in collaboration with a healthcare
professional. When adjusting pressures between 80lbs – 300lbs reference settings, the green light just above
LBS will be illuminated. When adjusting pressures between 350lbs – 1000lbs settings, press
BARI
and then
adjust pressure up or down to determine a setting that provides optimal comfort while ensuring there is at least
4” between the clients’ deepest point of emersion and the bottom of the mattress.
Additional In-use Adjustments
AUTO
- When activated, the system will detect leave-bed, bottoming-out and will activate fowler inflation when
the head of the bed is raised 30+ degrees.
ALARM
– When activated, alarm will sound when detecting leave-bed, sensor disconnect or bottoming-out.
FOWLER
– When activated, system’s pressure and firmness will increase to support patient when the head of the
bed is raised 30+ degrees, preventing patient from potentially bottoming-out.
LOCK
– When activated, buttons on the control panel will be non-functional. Press and hold the LOCK button for 3
seconds to activate or deactivate lock-out function.
If power is lost during operation, the control unit includes a memory function and will default to previous settings
when powered back on.
AIR FILTER must be cleaned monthly and replaced as needed
