Magazine Upgrade Procedure

The upgrade procedure is identical regardless of the tape cartridge type
supported except where noted. The upgrade procedure consists of the
following major steps:

Ejecting the Original Magazine
•
Installing the New Magazines
Ejecting the Original
Magazine

Prior to upgrading the magazines, you must eject the original magazine(s)
from the library. To eject the magazine (s):

On the front OCP, press the
Ops
button from the
Home
screen.
The OCP displays the
Operations
screen.

From the
Ops
screen, use the up and down arrows to highlight
Library
Operations
and press
Enter
.
The
Library Operations
screen displays (see
figure 1
):
