Installing and Removing DC Power Supply Units in Check Point Appliances | 11
To remove a DC Power Supply Unit:
1. Turn off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the DC Power Supply Unit.
Make sure that the power supply LED is not lit up.
2. On the DC power connector, loosen the screws to these wires:

0V battery return
n
- 48V DC
3. Remove the wires from the DC Power Supply Unit.
4. Loosen the grounding lug screw and remove the wire from the ground connection.
5. While holding the release lever and pushing it to the right, pull the extraction handle to remove the DC
Power Supply Unit.
Note - To prevent damaging the power supply, use only the extraction handle to remove
the DC Power Supply Unit
