Verify the System is Up and Running
To verify the system:

Using an Ethernet cable, connect a notebook computer to IPMI/BMC
port on the top canister (see Figure 182 ).

2 Access the BMC Web UI.
Note: For instructions on how to access the BMC Web UI, refer to
Access the BMC Web UI on page 30 Chapter 3, F2000 Basic
Operations .
3 In the BMC Web UI Dashboard, verify that there are no failures
reported.
Note: Refer to Check the Status of a Canister on page 49 and
Check the System Inventory of a Canister on page 50 in
Chapter 3, F2000 Basic Operations for instructions on how
to check for errors.
4 Disconnect the CAT6A Ethernet cable from the IPMI/BMC port on
the canister.
5 Connect the CAT6A Ethernet cable to IPMI/BMC port on the bottom
canister (see Figure 183 on page 170).
