Connecting to the DXi6902 Node
Access the Service Menu by connecting a service laptop computer to
the DXi6902 Node.
There are three ways to connect to the Node:
• Connecting to the System Node Using the Service Port
• Connecting to the System Node Using the iDRAC Port
• Connecting to the System Node Using the Serial Port
Note: You can also directly connect a monitor and keyboard to the
DXi6902 Node.

Service Port
Connecting to the service port allows access to the root command
prompt and the Service Menu .
To connect to the DXi6902 using the service port:
1 Using an Ethernet cable, connect the Ethernet port on the service
laptop to the service port on the Node (see Figure 19 ).
