This section describes how to remove and replace the battery backup
unit (BBU) in a DXi6902 Array module (RBOD) and contains the

Obtaining a
Replacement Array
Module BBU
Before beginning the replacement procedure, make sure that you have
the required replacement kit. The appropriate Array module BBU will be
provided by Quantum Customer Support (see Figure 110 ).
You will need the following items to perform this procedure:
• Replacement Array module BBU provided by Quantum Customer
Support.
• ESD grounding wrist strap (included in the replacement kit)
