Creating a NAS Share
The DXi3500 and DXi5500 systems have the ability to serve as a NAS appliance for
backup purposes. The
NAS
page is used to configure the NAS portion of the system.
To access the
NAS
page:

From the
Storage
tab, click the
NAS
link.
The
NAS
page displays (see
).

Click
Add
to add a NAS share.

Note:
If this is a Windows NAS share, you must configure the Windows domain (see
the
Quantum DXi3500 and DXi5500 User’s Guide
, PN 81-81701) prior to creating
your NAS share.
Note:
To
Edit
a share, click the
Share Name
link.
