Balancing the load cells
This section describes how to balance the Cubiscan
325’s load cells.
Items needed
–Small flathead screwdriver
–5/64'' Allen wrench
–25 lb weight (it is recommended that the maximum
weight is used)
–Paper
–Pencil
Complete the following steps to balance the load cells.
Balanced load cells report the same weight. There are
four load cells located at each corner of the Cubiscan
325. To balance the load cells the Cubiscan 325 must be
on.
1. Make sure that there is no air blowing on the
Cubiscan 325, as this can disrupt the balancing
process.
2. Zero the scale by tapping the
Zero
button located
on the main screen.
3. On the Cubiscan 325’s touchscreen, go to
MENU >
Diagnostics > Scale
. This screen will display the
current weight in the
Wgt
field.
4. Remove the two center cover thumb screws that are
located on the right side of the system. See
5. Slide the center cover to the left so that you can
access the load cell summing box.
