Text Message Settings:
To select a text message account (Steps 1-3):

To personalise your text message account:

The personalise settings include the following:
• Message centre: Enters your text Message centre number.
• Protocol: Select your message type from Standard text/Fax/X.400/
Paging/ERMES/E-mail.
• Validity period: Select the period from 1 hour/12 hours/1 day/
1 week/Maximum. This determines the length of times the SMS
message is stored at the SMS centre. The radio button for the
selection will be marked.
• Delivery report: This feature allows you to get a receipt when the
SMS message is successfully delivered. Press Select to activate/
inactivate the feature. This feature is network dependent.
• SMS via GPRS: This feature allows you to send your SMS via GRPS
rather than CSD. Press Select to activate/inactivate the feature.
• Direct reply: If this feature is enabled and available from your service
provider, you may pay for the message sent back to you. Press
Select to activate/inactivate the feature.
