Step 7: Tighten all KD screws.

FIREPLACE INSERT INSTALLATION:

The fireplace insert can be installed after the mantel has been fully 

assembled.

WARNING: Make sure the fireplace insert controls are in the 

OFF position and the unit is NOT plugged in.

Step 1: Attach 2 large ‘L’ brackets [Q] to each sides of fireplace 

insert with washers [S], and fixed by small screws [T] and nuts [R].

Step 2: Carefully place the INSERT in the unit opening.  The front 

of INSERT should be flush with the front of the mantel.  Carefully 

lift the INSERT into the mantel until the top stopper is against the 

mantel.

Step 3: Attach fireplace insert to the unit as shown in Fig. H with 6 

medium KD screws [U].  (4 screws at the top side of insert and 2 

screws at Big L shape brackets. See Fig H.

Step 4: Move assembled unit to desired location. Unit should not be 

positioned in area exposed to direct sunlight.

WALL ANCHOR SAFETY CABLE

The use of WALL ANCHOR SAFETY CABLE is highly recommended 

in order to reduce the risk of the fireplace being tipped over acci-

dentally. WARNING: This CABLE may reduce possible risk of injury if 

the fireplace is improperly handled, but is not a substitute for proper 

adult supervision. Children should not be left unattended near any 

heater.
1.  Drill a 5/16 in (8 mm) hole in the wall. Insert the PLASTIC 

WALL ANCHOR into the hole and gently tap until the flange on 

the anchor is against the wall surface.
