The battery pack for this tool has been shipped in a low charge condition. You should charge the battery 
pack fully before use.

Before use, follow these steps to check that the tool is working properly and the length of the line is 
correct:

Your trigger switch is locked OFF to prevent accidental starting. Depress lock off button

• 

Examine the general condition of the tool. Inspect the guard, switch, cord set. Check for loose screws, 

misalignment, binding of moving parts, improper mounting, broken parts and any other condition 

that may affect its safe operation. If abnormal noise or vibration occurs during operation, turn the line 

trimmer off immediately and have the problem corrected.

• 

Ensure that you are on a flat surface and have secure footing.

• 

Check that the line touches or extends beyond the edge of the guard.
